About Peter Beggs
Peter Beggs is a Member of the Master Builders Association of New South Wales (# 1849570) and has current and up-to-date Licenses and Certificates (150260C & 41360) for all the work Beggs Building Co does.
Our Principal Builder is Peter Beggs. Peter did the clerk of works certificate back in the day when this really meant something. This qualification now a university degree is a three year course. He has a Building Foreman Clerk of Works certificate and is accredited with an MBA. He has been a building consultant from December 2005. He has been a Greensmart Professional from 2003. He did the course "Introduction to pre-purchase Property" in 2005 and has been a pre-purchase building inspector from December 2005. He recently completed the Certificate III Inspect & Report on Timber Pest course and will soon be able to do pre-purchase pest inspections.
Peter has been a Self Employed Builder for 22years and Beggs Building Co has specialised in one off house construction and extension. Peter has had 30 years experience as a Carpenter and Joiner so you know your home will be finished off by a Master Craftsman. Peter is a Skilled Plasterer, Concreter, Tiler, Metal Roofer, and Timber Floor Layer.
Peter is particularly interested in passive solar design. He has completed construction of houses in a variety of materials from brick veneer to FormBlock. He has always been interested in the thermal properties of building materials and has incorporated nature's natural insulators into his design's whenever possible.
About the Beggs team
DAX, AIDEN and JULIE are Peter's support team who help him to keep the Company performing to its very high standards.
Dax has been working for Beggs Building Co for 6 years. He commenced his apprenticeship in 2007 and is currently completing his Building Certificate IV (which is the Builders License Qualifications).
Aiden is Peter's son who has has been working for Beggs Building Co for 3 years. He is now in the 3rd year of his apprenticeship.
Both Aiden and Dax are strong, enthusiastic, courteous and capable young men who are also Carpenter and Joiners and are skilled in concreting, ceramic tiling, Metal Roofing, Plasterboard works and wet area flashing. Dax also helps Peter with sub contractor supervision. Although Dax and Aiden can work effectively and efficiently unsupervised, all work is supervised and checked by Peter to ensure the quality of your job is up to Peter's very high standards.
