“I came across Beggs Building in the Blue Mountains ‘Showcase’ Magazine, and it jogged a memory of someone telling me about Peter Beggs. Before that, I really hadn’t known how to go about finding a building inspector who I could trust to do a thorough job – so it was handy that I stumbled across his ad.

As soon as I contacted Peter I felt comfortable that he was the man for the job, and by the end of the process, I knew I’d definitely made the right decision.

The things I most appreciated about Peter’s service were:

– You could tell he took it personally – as if he was the one buying the property. I really felt that he had my best interests at heart.

– He wasn’t just trying to “tick my property off the list” to move on to the next. Rather, he made himself very available to me, in terms of both scheduling the inspection, and explaining elements of the report to me afterwards.

– He assured me that he’d be able to get the inspection report back to me very quickly, and he did. (As it turned out, the inspection was at 8am, and Peter had the report to me by 2pm the same day).

– He explained things in simple to understand language (which I appreciated – as someone who doesn’t know much about building terms or house structure), and continually reinforced that he was available if I needed to discuss or confirm anything.

Not only was Peter incredibly thorough, he made the task of getting a building inspection a very easy, personal and informative process. I really enjoyed working with Peter, and can’t recommend his services highly enough.”
