Beggs Building Co have completed planning and construction of houses in a variety of materials including FormBlock, Timbercrete, Hebel Panels and blocks, Rammed earth, corrugated walls, weatherboards, brick veneer, double brick and reverse brick veneer.

As power, gas and water bills have been increasing markedly over the last few years, more people are considering passive solar design in the construction of their homes.

Beggs Building Co can do Estimating, Job Costing and Contracts, can use BCA & Light Timber framing, can design and consult in plan preparation and specialises in Passive Solar Design Consultation. Beggs Building Co  undertake supervision and quality control and involve risk management based on experience and industry best practise.

 Some of the special Projects we have worked on for our clients are RAMMED EARTHED WALLS (heat absorption/retention), SOLID WALL OF 300MM THICK FORM BLOCKS (combo of rammed earth and mud bricks), NORTH FACING HIGHLIGHT WINDOWS (optimise LIGHT and HEAT), RENDERED HEBEL POWER PANEL (R5 or R6 insulation), DOUBLE GLAZED WINDOWS (heat effective), BOOMERANG SHAPED HOUSE (optimise solar capacity) and TWO SETS OF WINDOWS & EAVES (sun control)

In a BUSH FIRE ZONE, we have used ...

• flame resistant hardwood frames on double glazed windows

• mini corrugated panels on top and brick underneath part of dwelling

• concrete floor/stairs with flame resistant hardwood handrail

• steel handrails and balustrades

• adequate water tanks exclusively for fire fighting

• Sycon Linea cladding in lieu of timber weatherboard

About Us

We are Members of the Master Builders Association of New South Wales and have current and up-to-date Licenses and Certificates for all the work we do.

 Our Principal Builder is Peter Beggs. All work is supervised and checked by Peter to ensure the quality of your job is up to Peter's very high standards. Peter's wife, Julie's works in the office and his two offsiders, Dax and Aiden complete this highly dedicated and competent team.
